Which Ibler has the most subscribes?

Just wondering.

This is over the whole website, every member

Kipkay has rather a lot...

I've not seen more than that.
Whoa. I forgot to check his stats when I was posting.
I think he brought a bunch of subscribers from his Metacafe presence.

Probably Tim Andersion (818). Giannyl has 770. Kiteman has 470. These numbers are as of 15 November 2010.

You could write yourself a Perl script to figure it out. For each Instructables user, access their "statscard" data (.../member/statscard/?screenName=username), and parse out the numbers after "Subscribers".

Given the number of Instructables members, you should contact Staff directly before hammering their servers with this sort of query.
I would say that subscribers aren't everything, but I have already designed a special patch for #500...

Yes, I know, but,,,
I don't think memory is tied to hair presence.

Nothing wrong with that. Whether you put value on the number of your subscribers, the people who do the subscribing are putting value on you, and such a patch is a recognition of that for the person who receives it.

Or, possibly, "word".

Ok, but Jayefuu got BA
*ahem* woops

A perl script like this would take a LONG time to run, there are thousands and thousands of instructables members :)
On the up side, though, I don't believe there an easy way to get them all, so the hypothetical script kiddie would have a pretty short input list :-) Security through obscurity, always the best defense!
Said script kiddie would be wise to scrape the top 1000 ibles by views/rating to get his/her list of eligible contenders.
Maybe. I just did a quick by-hand check -- of the top ten in views, only five of the authors have more than 100 subscribers, and only three are major targets (of which one is The Kipkay). I'm sure there's a correlation, but you're probably right that the top 100 or 1000 I'bles would be needed to get a decent distribution.
