Wireless connection problems

I bought a new wireless card for my computer and i can find my network but it refreshes every 5 seconds or so, so i cant connect because it times out. any ideas?

it doesnt refresh, it goes down to just local and i have to disable and re-enable it to get internet back and that happens about every five minutes.

just uninstall the hardware driver and then reinstall it. What windows version are you using. if you are using windows 7. the problem may be solved by this method. and with vista downloading new drivers may fix it. And if you;re using xp. boot in safe mode and uninstall the driver then boot in normal mode. open device manager and click on scan for hardware changes. it will detect the hardware and reinstall the driver automaitically. if the problem is still not solved then contact your supplier. by the way never use vista
