Would a Flat-Screen or a Big Chunky TV work best with the Nintendo Wii?

If we keep our Big Chunky, we lose space. If we get a Flat Screen, do we lose quality or anything else? I have heard somewhere before that Flat Screens don't work very well with the Wii ?

Don't trust what I heard from 'Somewhere'.

Flat screens work great with the Wii.  Generally better in fact, since they're usually bigger which makes it easier and more accurate to use the controller to point at stuff on the screen.

Mine works just fine on my flatscreen. I'd recommend investing in a component cable instead of the crappy one that comes with the Wii. Makes a big difference in picture quality.

Yes, a flat screen OR a big chunky TV would work best with the Wii.

(In other words, the Wii doesn't care what kind of monitor it connects to. Video is video. Some monitors may produce a bit of motion blur, if they have a longer decay time, but that's not usually a problem; they'd be doing the same thing to ordinary video, so if you don't notice it while watching other signal you probably won't notice it here..)
