Would this method of t-shirt making work? (see question)?

Could i. Melt plastic bags onto a tshirt? For simple designs?? What finish would it give? Thnx for any help! :)

I'm not sure, but I do know that it is worth a try and an ible. I would use a dry iron to melt the plastic into the T-shirt, with a layer of parchment paper between the iron and the plastic.

Plastic bags are so soft because they're so thin. When the plastic is melted any thicker, it gets harder, and rougher. There are methods of turning bags into a yarn and weaving that yarn.
