can Sodium polyacrylate absorb nitic acid or hydrogen peroxide?

I would like to know if mixing Sodium polyacrylate with nitic acid or hydrogen peroxide will form a gel-like structure of solid material for disposal.?

For Nitric acid, no.
Nitric acid is formed from a gas (NO2) dissolved in water. I don't know for sure, but I think if you added sodium polyacrylate to HNO3 it would dehydrate it leaving nitrogen dioxide gas. Even if it did though, this would not be an acceptable way of disposing of acids. Acids must be disposed of by neutralizing them with a base such as sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, or even sodium hydroxide. (That one tends to be a little dangerous) What would be left over would be a nitrate salt which an just be flushed down the drain with copious amounts of water. (or you could evaporate it and extract the salt)
As for H2O2, I don't really know what that would do. If your aim is to neutralize it, you could try mixing it with a little bit of MnO2 or KI. This would decompose it into oxygen gas and water. If the hydrogen peroxide is concentrated though, this reaction would be quite violent, so be careful

Polyacrylate gel also has a habit of liquifying when salts are added.

Perhaps contact other labs in a situation similar to yours, and ask what their protocols for nitric acid and peroxide disposal are.

thanks. So I guess if not exposed to salt then it should be ok and it will stay in the solid form. but is there any other absorbent material for nitric acid or any other acidic solutions???
No, the nitric acid (particularly if concentrated) would also degrade the polymer. If you'll read the report I linked to, you'll see they tested two materials that neutralize and absorb in one step.

Why 'possibly'? (BTW, when the guest said 'for disposal', I assumed this meant to make cleaning up a spill on a floor or countertop safer and easier.)
