can you use blue roofing foam on a vacum former?

i want to make something on a small vacum former and i need to know at what temperature the foam melts.

Yes, you can but it will melt really quickly.

If you were to melt foam it would lose it's foaminess, but being foamy would make it very difficult to heat evenly. steve' seems to know what this stuff is - comment noted there.

These things usually use polystyrene sheet I think. But plastic-sheet, fairly thick either way.
