coding method of resistances in the form of 4k7, 8k2 or 560R?

I just want to know the values of 8k2, 2k2, 1k5 and 560R and what type of coding method it is?

8k2 is 8000 + 200 = 8200 ohms
4k7 is 4000 + 700 = .... ohms
2k2 is.......
1k5 is......
560R is 560 ohms

The "k" is short for thousand. So read k as thousand and you get 8 thousand point 2. 8200.

8k2 is 8000+200 = 8200 ohms => 8.2k is that correct

thanks a lot.
We use it to avoid missing the decimal point, and confusing the greek Omega for a '0'
