do spiny leaf insects eat australian native red wattle? all helpful answers will be appreciated :) ?

hi, i have 2 spiny leaf insects and have changed their diet from gumleaves to australian native red wattle due to the fact of i cant get gumleaves anymore :( is the red wattle fine for my leaf insects to eat?

THIS caresheet says that wattle is one of the plants they're naturally found on (the others being eucalyptus and rose bushes).  It also says they'll turn bright green if you feed them wattle or rose.
