. For most everyday-driving applications, it's not going to make much difference. If you're going to the drag strip, SCs seem to be the preferred choice.
. Turbos have lag, but modern dual-stage systems have minimized that.
. SCs can provide more boost, but your limited by gas octane and other factors in a passenger car, so it doesn't really matter.
. IMNSHO, a SC has a greater "cool factor," but YMMV.
. That's assuming you are talking about factory-installed options. If you have to ask, don't even think about installing your own.

well i think yall r right cuz a turbo kicks in at 4,000 rpms but the supercharger kicks in all the time but the turbo sounds alot better than a supercharger

In addition to other answers, turbochargers recycle waste energy from your exhaust and improve fuel efficiency. Turbocharging is (and has been for a long time) standard on commercial diesels for this reason. L

they say that for racing the supercager is the way to up the power.

I wouldn't disagree - are you racing this?! The comment was that there's a fuel / mileage advantage to turbochargers over crankshaft-driven superchargers. L

Yea! Have you found a source for the supercharger? This might be useful (the website)

superchargers are better because they are belt driven. with a turbo you have exhaust spinning a fan forcing air into the intake. so you will have to wait a second or two for the turbo to get spinning to get all of your power, since a supercharger is belt driven and is connected directly to your crank you won't have "turbo lag" you have insta power, but they are more expensive. hope this helps any questions just ask and I'll try to help
