electret = brown's gas + rock dusts + high voltage during cooling?

Electret: a material that is electric like a magnet is magnetic.

Using rock and silicate dusts, is it plausible/possible/simple enough to melt the rock/silicates in a crucible furnace, pour the mix into a mould ... which is polarised by a high tension DC voltage field:
Upon cooling, the material is said to become a high voltage electric parallel of a magnet.

The concept is simple enough, right? I think Hutchinson adds barium titanate to his crystal cells, which I believe her charges straight off the 90 degree spike from a HV coil.

so ... polarisation ... like a magnet.    possible? plausible? doable? instructable!!  :D

Websearch for "hutchinson crystal cell" finds lots of free energy and antigravity claims. Definitely pure woowoo. Can I sell you instructions for a tinfoil cap guaranteed to block the government's mind rays? Only $49.97 and I'll include a sheet of the passivated aluminum it requires, rolled under a full moon while Saturn was in opposition to the Galactic Twirl Phase using dies made of polarized unobtainium...
Is time travel in there? Cause thats what I want to do, time travel. How about teleportation?

"Freezing in" a potential difference can yield a diode. (N-type/P-type semiconductor junction.) But it can't be done the way you're describing; it needs to be done with dopants.

An N type or P type semiconductor is electrically neutral !
Yes, but the junction isn't, locally.
Yes, but it only happens when the junction is made, as the free carriers migrate not by sticking two lumps together.

When translated, I think what you end up asking is if you can create a capacitor from moon dust.   That would be the closest electrical equivalent to a 'permanent' magnet.

And yes, you could, but there are easier ways than trying to get a single pour casting to separate out into the right combo of insulators and conductors.

Just as you can 'charge' soft iron with magnetic energy and it will become a magnet but although it can then be used to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy (in a dynamo) it will not, in itself, be a source of energy until you de-magnetize it in a controlled way (not a lot of energy can be extracted in this way and it is a one way trip - once it is de-magnetized you cannot use it again).

And the same will apply to your electric bar. With its positive end and its negative end you might be able to use it to convert mechanical energy into another form but you cannot get any energy out of it except by de-electic-ing it.

In this case think of it like a simple AA battery - it has a positive end and a negative end but you cannot use it to get energy out except by discharging it. After which it will be useless. So would your polarised rock.

OK so an AA batter only has 1.5 volts and your rock will carry many thousands of volts but the principle is the same. If you want a high voltage use a Leyden jar but you still won't be able to get 'something for nothing' until you discharge it.

You cannot beat the laws of Physics.

You're trying to freeze in a dielectric charge separation?  Why not do it yourself and see what you get?  You should be able to get access to a crucible at your local TechShop or HackerSpace.
