flywheel replacement step by step on 94 gmc 1500

my truck has an auto transmission and a v6 i would like to know if anyone knows were i can find a step by step or somethin along those lines. im pretty handy and ive done it once before, but it was on a v8 mustang, so i would like to be able to go over some instructions. thanks

like he said invest in a chilton's or haynes manual for your truck you will use for more than just this. and just a heads up if its an automatic you have a flex plate rather than a flywheel, flywheels are in manual transmissions, if i am wrong please let me know

.  Assuming the engine is not stuck in there sideways (front-wheel drive), it will be almost exactly like on the Mustang (disconnect shifter, cooling lines, kickdown, &c; disconnect front u-joint and drop driveshaft; remove trans; remove flywheel; reverse steps). If $25 for a Chilton's is too much, visit your local library.
