has there ever been a coffee contest?
Just curious has there ever been a coffee contest on instructables? I have something crazy being made, was wondering if i should hold off publishing

I don't believe there has been - but really...I know there are some people who make several projects and save them in a repository until a contest comes up -- which is sad.
Really, if its a great idea, post it. When a contest comes up, enter something else!

Yes, I have something in the works... Think R2D2 gone bad
Things have come, commissioned to do a sculpture and may not have my coffee creation ready... Oh well, I'll post it later when I have time to finish it.
Get some caffeine in yourself and burn the midnight oil? ;-)

Not just a time issue I'm afraid, lack of materials. Usually I just modify as I go along when challenged, but I want this as a quality piece, can't be rushed. It will be posted soon enough though. Someone else will have to win the contest
Your right of course, it was one of those "wouldn't it be great" thoughts that maybe aren't so great after all. Gotta shake the contest fever!
