heat shrink?

how does it works exactly

When heat is applied to it, the plastic responds by shrinking to a smaller size. Shrink tube usually has a maximum amount it can shrink to before it stops.

In most cases you want the shrink tube to be slightly larger than the thing you are shrinking it around. When it shrinks, it wraps around that object.

Since it does not conduct electricity, it is good for insulating wire connections.
