help 2 male usb to 1 female usb (the extra 1 male usb is for additional power)?

can someone help me how to make usb with 2 male and 1 female usb. i can't run my alpha network adapter coz it is for a desktop computer not for a laptop so it needs more power to work.

ground of my laptop usb port connected to ground of external 5V power adapter, so do +5V pins but there is a diode between pc and power adapter 5V connection. it wont let current flow INTO pc. if you have a multimeter you can check the voltage diference between pc ground and external power source ground while they are both working. it should work fine if they are 0. i use it for more than 2 months now but I only trust that diode.

Just splice the 2 together. You'll only need to 2 power wires from the second plug. You can find wiring diagrams for this online. But if the laptop can't support the power needs through 1 USB plug it's not going to support it through more unless it has a dedicated plug that offers more power. So you'll need a separate power source which could cause trouble and burn out the laptop. In which case you can cut the positive wire from the plug to the laptop. Then the device can get all it's power from a separate source altogether.

then i will just cut the positive wire from the main usb male and the extra should not be cut. that means i have 2 negative wires from 2 usb male port then 1 positive wire?
