If you have the same earbuds that come with the Fuze, try using it on something else (PC, portable CD/DVD player, etc) and check if the other side works. If you still can't hear anything, then it would be the plug on the earbuds. if so, try using a different set of headphones on your player. if that doesn't work, then it just might be the jack on the player, like teq said.

Assuming that there are no internal speakers for the Fuze(provided by SanDisk's website), you are referring to the 3.5mm audio jack. If this is the case, it may simply be that the headphone jack is no longer connecting properly. There are usually a couple prongs within the jack that bend over time. Re-bending them or widening the headphone terminator will solve this. However, it could also be a software issue. Check that your firmware is updated and you are, in fact, providing audio that is full stereo.

teq is correct. The Fuze is sort of notorious for slight damage around the 3.5mm jack input preventing jack from inserting completely. Alternatively, it may just not be inserted completely. I've done this a number of times. You can pull out the jack and re-insert it more firmly. If this isn't a good fix for you, then I'd look into warranty repair/replacement (mfr. warranty is 1 year from date of original purchase). To obtain warranty service, contact SanDisk at 1-866-SanDisk or send an email to support@sandisk.com. More warranty details are here: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/prod_info.gsp?product_id=9239559&cat=164001&type=19&dept=3944&path=0%3A3944%3A133251%3A96469%3A164001 . Good luck to you. I've had my Sansa Fuze for 4 months, use it *a lot*, and couldn't be happier with it. Anything but iPod ...

Or, if you don't understand a word of what he said, bring it back to walmart and ask for a refund. :P
