how do I change the heating element on an Amana TEA400-L dryer. Do I have to take the back off?

The front comes off with 2 screws but I think I may have to take the back off

The ones I've fixed needed the lid off....Clearly your mileage may vary...

Most dryers i've worked with require you to take the drum out to get at the heating coils. If its the first time this unit has been opened then look all over the inside. You may find a manual tucked up in there.
