how do I push the enter key on multiple mac books computers at the same time?

I've tried Darwiin which is a Wii remote hack and it works on one computer but it will not do more than 1 computer at a time. I'm trying to fire the web cam on 20 -100 laptops all at the same time. I'm going to also try an apple remote which I will get in the next week or so, but has anyone got a better idea?

Ive had a play with an app "teleport" which is suppose to let you control multiple macs, but it wont let me control them all at the same time.

Is this for your bullet-time project?

I wonder if you could wire a bunch of USB cables into a single Big Button, and hit that to trigger multiple computers at once?

Hi kiteman
yes it is.
I know a bit about usbs and the big button idea would be very difficult to make work.
and the answer to your other question
yes I do
OK.

Lateral thinking: why not take a second or three of video with the computers?

That would stop a slightly-staggered start being a problem, because you could select the best frame from every video.

Hi kiteman thanks for having a think about it.
It would be very difficult to sort through all the frames as they all look so similar. it was bad enough trying to sort through which frames were mirrored out of sequence or in the wrong shoot. I'm going to have a play with an app called teleport, which will let me control every computer from one master computer, but haven't been able to get it to work as yet.

I wonder if the mac can take operating instructions over a LAN just like
a PC is able to do.

If so, it should be very simple to gang all the computers on on LAN
( Local Area Network ) and one equivalent command from a LAN MAC.

Thanks iceng
that is one of the options the computer techs are looking into, but as they are mac computers nothing is easy we haven't had any successes with that idea yet
