how do i connect my 3d ready H5360 Acer projector to a 3d PS3?
ok, so i have both a PS3 and Directv with 3d demo channels,
a 3d ready H5360 series Acer projector.
and a pair of sony PS3 3d glasses. that's about it.
so the first problem is that neither directv nor the PS3 recognizes my projector as 3d comparable. the projector is connected to a surround-sound multiplexer and from there (when set to HDMI-2) the signal goes to the projector. from what i understand is the hdmi input on the projector is hdmi 1.3 and 3d requires 1.4.
a saw a optoma PC=3D-XL converter that will convert the signal into projector-friendly format and sync the glasses. but, it comes with a bit hefty price tag of $300 on sale - and I've seen them as high as $600! are there any other solutions?
and another thing. when i connected the projector directly into to PS3, there was no picture, only when the PS3 was connected to the multiplexer home theater system and from there to the projector did i get a picture!
