how do i get my laptop charger to work its making noises and the green light wont come on ?

the green light wich is supposed to come on once the laptop has been plugged in wont come up

its making beeping noises and wont charge the laptop.

I'd hazard a guess that you've either got a short circuit on the cable to the laptop, or its basically dead. New, generic supplies can be found in Walmart and the like
