how do i make my guitar amp battery powered?

I have a 11.2 watt First Act guitar amplifier and i was wondering how i could make it battery powered so that its portable.

If you look inside you'll probably find a transformer, and off that the electronic bits that convert the output to DC. It might be 12V, 9V, 6V - I don't know - but find out. All you'd have to do is wire a batter-pack into the amp where the DC feed it.
Post a photograph if you can, use a multimeter (with care) on it if you can, and tell us what you find.
