The link henster22 provides is to an Instructable that he plagiarized. Shame, henster. Here is the link to the original Instuctable, by Basta. Knife maker, you should take the "Best Answer" away from henster, and give it to someone who deserves it, not a thief.

I didn't forget knife making I make about 4 knifes a week and sell them for lote of money but i was looking on instructibles and wanted to know witch one you people recommended!!!
There are several instructables on knife making as the others have pointed out. Some are better than others. Much of your success will depend on how much effort you want to put into the process. If you're serious, I would start with some blade forums. There are several and most of them are novice friendly. Most bladesmiths, me included, are more than happy to help out. Try to find one in your area and seek his advice. If you're close, he may well invite you to work with him in his shop. If he does, be polite and offer to pay for any material you use. He'll probably decline your offer, but it is just good manners. I've made blades for a number of years and enjoy passing on the hobby to others. Feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions.

Either type "make a knife" into the search box at the upper right, or look under "related" a few inches straight down from that. Pick one that looks like you might be able to complete it with the tools and supplies and skills available to you. Follow instructions. If you don't like the result, try again or try another. If you still don't like the result, go hit a library or a magazine (a friend likes Knives Illustrated) and do some reading there; then try again.

Lather, rinse, repeat if desired.
