how to add a link to any comment or line?

i know this may sound stupid but as i am new i can not add a link to my comments or instructables.and i want to know how to do it.

At the bottom of the answer pane there are 4 rectangle buttons. The first one says Rich Editor. When you write your answer or response, click the rich editor button and it will open your text in an editing frame. You can change the font and stuff like that. At the top there is a button that says insert link. Highlight the text you want it to reference to then click that button. It will open up a box that will allow you to enter in the URL or you can copy and paste it into the box. Save it and it puts your link in the text that you had underlined.
This used to be limited to pro accounts only, the rich editor, but I don't think that is so anymore. So if it doesn't work or doesn't allow you it will be because of that.

Non-pro rich editor can add hyperlinks.

Yep, Fun things you can do here. But I don't see where you can change font. I thought you could.
