how to build a smoke house for fish and meats something to smoke about 3-5 fish that weigh about 3lbs

For cold smoking Salmon(not cooked), I use an old dorm room size refrigerator that still works. On the internet, I found how to make smoke using a metal size 303 can with the top halfway off and hole in it . I put small soldering iron with a straight tip about the size of a nail in the hole to heat the smoking chips. The seal on the door closes around the wire in the can. The refrigerator keeps the temperature low without having to add ice. Fill the can with smoking chips and bend the top back down.
