how to create homemade hammocks?? anyway to avoid going out and buying an expensive hammock from a pricey outdoor shop?

Here's my 'Ible on the topic.  Of course, you can sew the ends to make it more durable, replace the paracord with climbing rope, use webbing instead of paracord for the Tree Huggers . . .

And here's my old video.  The video isn't great, but I've been using this design for 2+ years now for weekend backpacking trips and hanging in the backyard.
