how to hook a dtv converter to a flat panel computer monitor to make a lcd tv?

i have a magnavox dtv converter, and would like to hook it up to a lcd computer monitor to make a cheap tv.

Worst case scenario without using a computer: . http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=composite+to+vga+converter&aq=0&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=composite+to+vga+&gs_rfai=C3TD_62sQTMeuFYi6Men86d8KAAAAqgQFT9AF7ms&fp=19d13023017841d

it's doable: You need either a monitor that inputs the same signal as the dtv box - or a converter to make the dtv box's signal compatible with the monitor. My monitor has vga and dvi connections. Another one in here has composite, component, svideo, vga and dvi connections. Remember that hdmi out from the dtv box will be compatible with the dvi port on the monitor - but you'll need an hdmi-dvi cable, or an hdmi cable with an adapter. If your dtv box only outputs component at best, all is not lost - as component is compatible with vga wiring - google for circuit connections.
