injection molding machine; help me with the wiring?

Hey I'm trying to build a plastic injection molding machine, but I can't get the electronics/ wiring to work, please take a look at it and tell me why it isn't working :p

I've connected a light bulp to represent the band heater and it glows, but never turns off. Not even when the controller (REX c100) reaches the set temperature (I fool the thermocouple with an external heater source)

really really really hope someone can help, thanks!

I've successfully hacked the controller and the SSR relay now gets 12v from it (and it lights up= power on) but now I've assembled the whole thing with heater and all but when it reaches set temperature it just keeps heating... even thoug the SSR turns off (indicator light stops glowing and I can see the the 12v turns to 0v with my multimeter) any Idea what's wrong?

I made it work! thanks for your help

I know, I've seen this PDF too, but there is a "diagram" on the controller that says otherwise, and it turns on so it must be getting power ;)

dont know what type I've got... got it from Ebay... if I got the wrong one could that be the reason it's not working??...

what's the difference? what might the "wrong" one be used for then??

thanks for your help so far!
- hope you can clear these things up for me too. Really appreciate it!
I don't know. Post the exact model number and it can be deconstructed.

on the actual(physical product) it says;
MODEL:REX-C100FK02-M-AN
It has relay contact outputs.
I can make the relay work properly with the SSR, if you can connect it to a 24V DC supply instead of mains.

so I can make it work?
not sure how you mean?
-thanks again for all your help!
The problem is that the SSR needs low voltage DC to power it to say "on and off", your mains power to the unit won't let me wire it to the SSR properly

so is there anythin I can do to correct that??
Like I said, change the power supply to 24V DC

so the controller it self gets 24v too?
Yep.

Do you really mean the heater, or are you still testing with a light bulb ?

...and this is the one I bought..
kinda' hope it's the wrong one because elseway it dosen't make sence to me ;/
You have no power to the SSR.

According to the datasheet I've found, you've wired it wrong.
http://www.rkcinst.com/english/pdf_manual/imnzc17e3.pdf

Power in is on 6 and 7, not 1 and 2

Exactly what model of Rex C100 have you got ?? You really need the V type, with voltage output, not the contact version.
