I am assuming that you are not using stop motion for this one. But my idea is to make a recreation of the heist in "Ocean's 11" except instead of a casino, you use Dave & Busters! Or make it into a "21" type movie with counting cards. Since you are a ninth grader, you could do an escape from detention. I would love to do that one! Not that I get detentions at all. (Remember, I'm a geek). Or my second choice would be a huge paintball war and incorporate the opening scenes in "Iron Man" wherein Tony gets kidnaped by terrorists and is forced to build a huge weapon. Since the Instructables community is so smart, they could all relate to him! I certainly hope this helps. Keep making films and you'll get better at preproduction. -M4

Here's my idea, it the year 3032 (or something) and a young teenage boy is living with only a group of friends and gets by, by stealing things. The whole world has been strucken by poverty, war, and disease. When the boy and his friends are out, they see something on the news, its about how the first "alien ship" has crash landed (without a crew) and they are transporting it to the other side of the country. The boys find out that the route of the ship will travel near where they live. The day finally comes and there are a bunch of millitary ground force and airforce patrolling and clearing way (and remember, this is the future so the planes and weapons and millitary will be high-tech) The government doesnt know enything about this ship so when they are transporting it (through air using magnetic force to keep it off the ground) something goes wrong and falls from the sky. (the ship is massive) It falls not to far from the group of boys who live in the most average place and they are curious and go check it out. When they get there the place is covered with millitary units. But then it blows up in a mushroom cloud of blue, purple, and pink explosion. The boys run to go check it out but as they start to look around for survivors the ship hums and blows up a second time. The boys are thrown off there feet and the kid blacks out. When he regains consiousness he is bleeding out and know he is about dead but sees something crawl up him then crawl into any opening in his body and he blacks out again. When he awakes again he sees blurry and there are people in radiation suits and they are shouting, they are sticking things into him. He fights and runs away and they shoot. When he gets away, he comes to his senses and freaks out when he sees the bullet wound and that he is covered in blue tatoo like scars stretching across his body and realizes that his body has healed even though his limbs were hanging by threads. A couple days later he tries to find his friends but finds they were torn apart and didnt make it, he weeps.
6 years later....... He realizes that the blue scars give him some sorta of "powers", he is stronger, smarter, doesnt feel, pain, regenerates health quicker and has some kind of telekinesis. He still has a lot more questions and in order to do that he must find the "alien" who created this nano organism that lives inside him, and while doing this he is fighting off the millitary and government. There Is a Like this don guy who works fot the uderwotld hes rich he has a crew and he the boss but he also has a bigger boss who owns the place and he does drugs deals and stuff, The movie should be visually stylish, with great cinematography and awesome sound track, good costumes, and breathtaking action scenes. It shows him doing drug deals for a while and some other stuff rises up adding to the story. Then one day he goes to this party and its a setup with police there and is crew get arrested but he escapes in his car and this car chase happens with the police and him. He crashes gets out of his car and then is on a road suddenly and this car runs over him and hes badly hurt. He goes to hospital with the cops waiting for him and they take him to jail but he escapes and the movie ends but ready for a sequeal.

I had a decent movie idea where a woman falls in love with a man and he gets a job where he travels around the world and the man has to leave the woman. After 3 years the woman realizes she cant live without him and travels around the world to find him. In the end they get together and have kids and live a happy life.

The dispute between Othniel C. Marsh og Edward D. Cope. about science, fame and money.

The main character, M.C, receives a small package in the mail. Finds it to be a new pair of black sunglasses. The brand name on the tag says "Scope: The Future of Glasses". It has the receipt with it and it was bought by someone under the name "anonymous". He walks over to his bedroom window, puts on the glasses, and looks out at the street. He sees a girl, about his age, riding her bike when all of a sudden she gets hit by a yellow truck, leaving her lifeless. He heard nothing, not even when the tires skidded to a stop. As he runs to help the girl he trips in the hallway and knocks his glasses off. He dashes outside, looks to the street, and no one is there. The girl, her bike, and the yellow truck are nowhere to be seen. He looks to his right and he sees the girl, in perfect health, riding her bike toward the spot as if nothing just happened, and then (MC) sees and hears the yellow truck to his left. It is happening again, as if time reversed 10 seconds. (MC) runs and pulls the girl away from the truck before they hit. Girl thanks (MC) and after everyone has left, he walks inside, sees his glasses on the floor, picks them up and looks back outside, He sees her dead and lifeless on the ground, the yellow truck, the driver hysterically talking on the phone to someone and (MC) sees HIMSELF? on the street taking her pulse. He finds out that the glasses can see 15 seconds into the future, but the future wher where she died from the crash. He recieves an email from anonymous@gmail.com telling him that the glasses will predict the future, but will not forever, because he caused a "ripple effect" by saving her. Everyone and everything she now comes into contact with will be altered very slightly, causing the prediction to be slightly off or even not happen altogether. The email then says " BAR BAR BAR - Viva Las Vegas!" He imagines seeing the slots that will hit in 15 seconds, getting the person at the machine to leave for a bit while M.C. pulls the slot and takes the winnings. At Vegas, he successfully gets a girl to leave and he takes the money, but a guy sees what he did, punches him in the face, breaking his glasses in half. That night MC takes the lenses out of the frame, stacks one on top the other, closes one eye, and looks into the glass like a small telescope. He sees a blue van drive by, but now it took 30 seconds before it happened. He puts the glass back up to his eye, squints into it but now he separates the two glasses as he continues to look, and he sees time begin to fast forward, and when he stops pulling the lenses apart the "world" in the glasses returns to normal speed. In the two seconds M.C. pulled the lenses apart, he saw around 25 cars drive by. He realizes that the farther the lenses are apart, the farther he can see into the future. When the lenses are spread a little farther than 6 inches apart, he can see approximately 24 hours into the future. the further than that and the vision blurs tremendously. Early the next morning M.C. goes out to get his newspaper and an idea dawns on him. He pulls out the lenses, looks a day into the future, and watches the mailman drop tommorrow's newspaper and the headline reads "Local woman and child abducted from their car after breaking down on SR60. Car was found at 9:00 A.M. just south of Brooklyn St. Officials believe she was on her way to drop her son off at school when.." It's 6:30, and M.C.hops in his car to try and stop it. He recieves a text from 314-1519- 2653 saying "DON'T play God. Go BACK to Vegas and get more money. You owe me." M.C chooses to save the Mom and boy, but when he comes home he finds that his own son has been taken, and a letter has been left- "If you want your son back, you must break into the Bank of America Corporate Tommorrow night, someone by the name of Tyce Herman was going to break into their heaquarters and hack into their mainframe, downloading account information, social security #'s, etc.. But because you stopped the abduction, Tyce is going to get into a car accident today, leaving him incapacitated. And I want that information. So now you're going to get it for me. Tonight you will go to the bank's headquarters, and use the lenses to see how and when Tyce was going to sneak in, upload the information, and escape. You then will have one day to get the tools and resources needed, and then do everything exactly like Tyce was going to. That night, he watches the heist take place and while doing so he realizes that when he flips the lenses to be convex instead of concave, he can look a day into the past as well. He takes all the notes he can and then heads home. He comes up with the idea to use the glasses to see who kidnapped his son and where they took him all the while getting ready to break into the Bank of America building. I don't know much about movie production outside of someone yells "light, camera, action...." and "cut" once in a while...so I don't profess to be anything significant at all...But I've got this "movie" in my head that bits and parts get added as I go on in life......maybe stupid...I don't know, but here we go:
So, it starts out pretty boring / mainstream. It's a family here in the U.S. in a rural area. All the components of a "family" are present meaning the father, the mother, a 9 yr old boy, a 4 year old boy and a 10 month old learning to walk little girl. The family isn't rich at all but they're not hurting either. There’s an obvious gender role with the father taking on the brunt of the responsibilities. The two boys are school-aged and the baby girl spends most the day home with the mother. They're a loving family. The genuine kind that most people aspire to have in their own families. I'm sure a director could really draw most audiences in with their affection for each other, their beautiful 1900 Colonial or Queen Anne home and the very personable, friendly and common personalities of each character. Kind of like those of the family in the show 7th Heaven....let's maybe make this family black or african-american. They appear to be highly respected by all, but not in a unusual type way...they just fit in well in their community. I'm thinking that at some point in the film tragedy strikes and maybe a fire or something claims the life of the middle child. Maybe the father is a fire fighter or fire marshall/chief and up til the tragedy struck the home had periodic drills or maybe even a scene of the family in the car and the boys being lovingly drilled on "what to do in the event of a fire..." but for some reason it all went wrong on that unfortunate evening. There are a lot of cards from classmates.....scenes of the older brother struggling in school from that point. Also scenes of the mother trying hard to keep everything together, and even a small closed casket funeral with what's physically and emotionally left of this once very unified and strong family. The entire family struggles with the loss, but the father takes it especially hard. He's nowhere near who he was....He somewhat neglects the two children he does have and spends a lot of time in an emotion state he believes he's sharing with the son he lost.... nothing sci-fi or anything like that...just his method of grieving....but it's detrimental to the rest of the family. Eventually, he works himself to the point where life without the son he'd lost becomes to unbearable and his wife is greeted one day that her husband perished in a fire at a house he was called to....not saving anyone. His wife would just know that it wasn't accidental since entering burning dwellings hadn't been in his job descriptions for over a decade. She'd know that it all just became too much for him. Of course there's a bunch of details that I can't think of like different scenes of "pillow talk" between the husband and wife after the tragedy. maybe the father took the loss so hard because of having to discipline the middle child pretty rough the day before the incident....the oldest son struggling in school.....the mother losing her cool and composure of the smallest of incidents while everyone is gone from the home.....etc, etc..... just real life stuff that any of us could not only grasp as a true possibility in life, but also thought provoking and a bit of a reminder to appreciate what we do have. The movie Stepmom is kind of a good emotional reference.....just how yes, death was the looming factor in the film, but the characters dealt with it in their own unique ways. Just as long as somehow in the end it's somewhat stable with those who ......... some great music to accompany a film like this could be:

Ok my idea is freddy vs. Wolverine I know it sounds stupid but I like the story... ok. so it starts like this.....wolverine is at home he gets up nd goes nd gets coffe he then hears a lot of police cars roaaming by at imense speed when the police cars are done passing by wolverine pays nd gets out and then he starts jumping on buildings. Until he came across the burning building where police,firefighters and the swat team where at so then wolverine gets down nd everybody is looking at him and then the main police (nate)said you are to late and then wolverine asks what happened then a jr. Police (nikko) says five people were killed in there sleep. And they left a pie cooking and it burned the house then the paramedicts pass with the bodies across we nate stops one nd examined the slashes across the chest then looks at wolverine then wolverine says I didn't do they all stay quiet then suddenly a car blows up nd freddy laughs but he is nowhere to be seen then a loud beep ocurs in wolverine that nobody hears then police rush to him nd say are you ok wolverine wolverine!wolverine!!!!!!!!!wolverine falls asleep then he is having a nightmare on an old inside construction are he hears laughing nd he says come on!come !!!on!!!!! Then in a blink of an eye freddy is coming close to him slashing walls they both get mad then start running to each other wolverine. Hasn't taken out his claws yet so they both jump into the air freddy raises up the claws wolverine his fist throws a punch he misses then freddy gets his claws and scratches wolverine then they both hear one two three and before three freddy says its not over yet hahahahahaha he vanished then boom wolverine wakes up he dosent hear anything he only sees paramedics goin one two three then he screams and he can hear again. Well if your working with stop motion animation. I recomend a 3D camera set up. since most 3D cameras can view up to 3 meters of 3D. It would work perfect. everything would be in 3D since the entire sets are usally within 3 meters.60 fps instead of like 15-20 fps would make stop motion animation smoother as well.

I also have an idea to make 3D Rotoscoping more effective. Instead of looking like flat pictures being seperated and layered. Its theory at this time. Any free trial software I can find doesn't let me do what I need to do. So I can't prove it.
But I want to get paid for this one.

This idea probly wouldn't make me much money anyways. Or actally it probly would. But I'm trying to get noticed. I think up alot of smart stuff. And I want to get paid for my idea's. Well at least for the ones that work or more likly to work.

how about a pitcher for the boston red sox is about to become the first pitcher in major league history to reach 6000 strikeouts but as he has 5999 he gets injured and wont be able to come back for a while and was planning to retire after 6000. the playoffs are just about to begin and he is the teams ace. he tells himself that he will not retire until he gets 6000. he tries to get 6000 in a playoff game but he can barely pitch and coach takes him out because he cant afford to give up any more runs. his team loses in the 2nd round of the playoffs. he waits it out until next year and his coach tells him that they are about to release him because he is no good to the team anymore but he gets one more game to pitch. in the bottom of the ninth against the yankees, he is stuck in a jam. 10-9 boston, bases loaded, yankees best batter at the plate, full count, and he is extremely tired. the coach is only leaving him in because this is his last game. the final pitch is a curveball but just as he releases it he gets hurt again. as he looks up thinking that he wont be able to get 6000, he finds out that he got the strikeout and won the game. that night he retires.

this man takes a boat out to this island to rescue his freind who has been missing for 3 weeks,

a man doesn't want to rescue his lost friend and hes gone completly mad becauseof allthe dinosaurs roaming around trying
to eat him!!he went get back on his boat but its gone!!

they manage to kill a couple of dinosaurs and save his friend get back on 1 of those dinos with long necks they try to tell people but they dont believe him

My idea for a movie is a Historical Drama based on events leading up to the battle and evacuation of Dunkirk in May of 1940.
There are so many true dramatic subplots leading up to and after the evacuation that not only shaped the future outcome of the War but allowed ordinary civilians an opportunity to be involved in an operation that saved over a quarter of a million lives.
I believe the major subplots to be:
-The Nazi Generals convincing Hitler to attack the French through the Ardennes forest and forming a pincer move on the British and French forces in Northwestern France.
-The “Halt order” given by German high command to refortify and repair equipment before attacking the 338,000 stranded French and British on Dunkirk beach.
-The multitudes of military and merchant ships crossing the English Channel to save the cut off troops from certain death.
-The process of ferrying 330,000 men from small merchant ships in shallow water while under air attack from German bombers.
-A single French division holding off the entire German offensive to buy more time for evacuation. (Some historians have made comparisons between this battle and the 300 Spartans holding off the Persians.)
Please consider this as a legitimate idea for a major motion picture. I would write the screenplay myself if I thought I could do it Justice.

Well bear with me on this one people like zombies and people like aliens so what about a zombies vs aliens movie
Out of the whole world there are only lets say about 20 survivors left all stuck in one building there running out of ammo and they decide to try and break out to the nearest armory and get ammunition from there so they escape the building by the sewer and try to escape the zombies and all you hear is the shriek of a women yelling run everyone turns around to see 2 zombies gnawing all over her neck and arms a man shots both the zombies and checks on the girl that was bitten they see she doesn't have enough time so they decide to start running before more zombies appear to show up but by then 15 zombies start running in and someone decides to shot them while the others make a getaway that's when the man realizes his magazine(clip) wasn't totally full he starts shooting the m16 killing most of the zombies but by the time he reaches for a new clip he realizes the girl that was once bitten got up and bit him on the back of the neck and the other 5 zombies started biting his chest and face
The others (un-aware of there friends death)have safely made it out and now running from the hundreds of zombies before them they noticed a strange object in the air coming lower and lower when they finally land 4aliens come out of the UFO then everyone runs behind a building noticing that they have a new problem the observed the aliens and they turned around to see 100's of zombies rushing towards them the zombies pull out some sort or ray gun and starts shooting it every shot seemed to take out 5 to 6 zombies out so the remaining humans decide to just watch the rest of the battle and soon enough a zombie bites one of the aliens and soon 2 more aliens down so the 1 rin that remains decides to retreat no knowing a zombie snuck into there space craft and bit the last alien so then the alien reaches for his gun and kills the zombie the alien grabs his shoulder in pain and speaking an out of this world language calling for back up send back up to this location so then starting a new war!!!

A space shuttle lands on Venus, but when it gets there they find out it is Heaven. Reincarnation is real and only the purest souls have made it there. The astronauts return to Earth and tell everyone what they found. Everyone world wide decides they would rather reach the heaven than keep being reincarnated here on Earth, so on the same day at the same time everyone is supposed to commit suicide so that everyone would go straight to heaven. But one couple hides out and everyone dies except for them, so no one make it to heaven and it all starts over again.

a guy is poor and his wife left him because of it. he goes to the bank to take out his last sum of money. but after he gets out the last of his money he sees a group of masked men with their one hands in their jackets like they're pulling out guns. he trys to run away but the masked men shoot him in the back once.

now waking up at the hospital his wife and daughter are sitting next to him. his wife says they're moving away. after he gets out he sees his bill for $32,000.

he doesnt leave his house for nine days. he then comes to the conclusion that he is going to start a heist. start small and go bigger. he calls his friend and asks him to join. he agrees and is told to ask other people with heist "talents".

he gets the group together and rob a gas station. then a convenient store, ect.

then a big job comes up. a large bank corperation. they go in get the money and go out to see cop cars rush up the street. all except the first guy,get into the van.

but the first guy stays and randomly shoots at the cars.

the cops open the car doors and hide behind them like sheilds. they open fire on the man.

now it is completly scilent, but camostion is still going on. a slow motion effect takes place with some sad dramatic music. you see the man slowly drop with a tear roll down his face. then you see the other members with stunned looks on their faces and some members yelling. the van speeds away as the mans best friend still looks at the dead body from the car window.

now the scene is over the dead body with several bullet wounds showing through his shirt with cops running to him still pointing the guns at him. (the slow motion is still going on.)

the cop pulls out a picture soaked with blood of his wife and daughter.

My ideas are based on my theory of how movies should be made. Some of the best movies are based on real stories, but over exaggerated into a bigger, more interesting story. For example, the gross-winning '97 movie "Titanic", it was based off a real story, but turned into a love story! So you could take that and come up with many ideas. Some of mine are:

-Abraham Lincoln's Assassination
-The Life of a Slave
-Make up a story of 9/11 (conspiracies)
-Einsteins Hidden Theory of Science
-Story of brothers on different sides of civil war

Hi my name is Sarah and I have this movie idea that wont go away its about this kid who has an alcoholic mom and she is treated very badly and a famous singer comes to her school to help with a play and she finds she can sing very well and the singer and the kid start noticing how much they're alike and one day the kid is going through some old pictures in a box and finds a pic of the country singer holding a baby which the baby is the kid and she starts freaking out because the singer is really her mom then she gets all mad and ignores the singer and she drops out of the play which she had the main role in and eventually she tells the singer whats wrong and the kid tells the singer and then the singer realizes that she is being treated very badly and goes to court and fights for the custody of the kid and that's all i got .what do you think?

I think it would be cool to make a "Halloween Nigh." It is based on a R.L. Stine book, but don't make it as corny as that one was.

i have an idea thats about the iphone and with taking inspiration from "the social Network" and "i robot" a combination of the two based on iphones... i imagine it starts off with a random everday office man who has a hobby building technology he then comes across the iphone and he finds out that each iphone progects visual radio waves much like off "batman begins".Not only that the people at apple that are most likly japenese have gone far beyond the technological world the people know, and have developed the iphone to transform and use violence such as in "transformers". but "everyday office man" dosnt know this.. yet. in his quest to tell someone he is developed into a psycho in the eyes off the community he then loses his job and family eventualy his home. but despite all of this he knew that whoever made the iphone would be some kind of powerful man with a neverending thirst for greed. and when nobody believes him, the iphones transform and he is the only one who can stop them...............

HELLO my idea is to make a movie that envovles an engineer using compact disc cases with the security devices inside of them being loaded with a mixture of material to explode by a push of a button in cars,houses connected to stoves,etc.....

A teenager sees a movie on Isohunt bittorrent that has a cool title but no comments ,he researches it but can only find that it the movie is still being made. He downloads it anyway, to his amazement it is a full film and it's definitely the one that is still being made, How can this be, he watches the movie and it all seems ok and normal then half way threw the movie the cameras are turned onto the film crew ,like a behind the scenes view which shows you what is really going on,like arguing, the bitching, the abusive treatment of the actors and staff and finally the killing that takes place buy someone unknown . The teenager doesn't know what to think of it, is it real or is this the just how the movie goes. He gets in touch with the film company and they tell him they are still on site filming, He tells the film company what he has done but they dont believe him so he shows them the movie he downloaded. The company tries to get in touch with the film crew but no one answers. They leave to go to the film sight to find everyone is alive and well and still filming. Then all the actors grab the teenager and tie him up then they all get a cd each and break the cd's so that they have sharp edges and then they start to cut him up and watch him bleed to death. Finally the actors turn to the camera that was filming this and say, Stop stealing our movies or this will happen to you.

It would be nice to see someone do a movie about my book "How the Wizard Came to Oz." This book was published in 1991 by Books of Wonder, and I own the copyright to both the title and the story. An NFL player can't play anymore. Suspended or something but it's not his fault. So he goes the australia to play australian football which he doesn't like very much at first. Starts training while he's lawyer best friend trys to get him unsuspended from NFL. Our protagonist meets a girl that he likes a lot. their relationship will have to go trough some tough times that l haven't made up yet l'll leave that to you. At the end he becomes a good player wins(or almost wins, your decision) the cup. His friend comes baring good news telling him he can play in in NFL again but he turns him down and goes on with his life in australia. Not my best idea but l prefer to keep my other ones to myself for now XD
