ANSWERS : Technology

Need 25 pieces of the following:-
 Aluminium housed 15 Ohms/ 5Watt resistors.
Newark, Allied, NTE etc are cut throats.
Any one has a clue, please?

electronic surplus houses are your best bet. New parts from commercial distrbutors will cost you an arm and a leg.

Well, these aren't aluminum housed, but they are rated for 5W. Dirt cheap at 20 cents each: http://www.futurlec.com/Res5W.shtml

Those aren't going to be cheap where ever you find them, unless you find an overstock at some surplus house.

Slightly higher power rating is OK, price is a minimum at 10W, not 5, these work out at ~1 GBP each.
