need to make a switch for my 2,000 lb superwinch 12 v. mine went missing with all the wires ?


thats about it. there are two terminals coming out of the end of the motor.

Winches MUST be used with relays, and extremely heavy feed wires, taken directly from the battery to power them.

There are specialist "contactors" needed - you can pull 150A or more under some circumstances. Look for "replacement winch contactors" on Google for a local source to you.

You can use this inst. for a guide to wire your new switch.

Your switch and wires MUST be able to carry the load of the winch.  You may have to use a relay to carry the full load.
