How dumb ull are! Its an mp3 player for a car, fitting into the lighter socket.

Anyways the answer is that u only connect the black from usb to green from player, red to the red and the green and white wires left from usb dont get connected to anything. #BOOM

You know, {black, red, green, white} is a color combination I have seen inside a cut-open USB cable. Maybe that's what you've got there? It's kinda hard to tell what you're talking/writing about, but I am guessing you want to connect a cell phone charger to a cut-open USB cable?

Anyway, for that USB cable, red is +5 V, and black is ground (0 V).  The green and white are the complimentary data lines D+ and D-, respectively.

See also, the pinouts.ru writeup on USB:

Assuming your phone charger cable, with its red and black wires, actually wants +5V on the red wire, and 0 on the black one.  Then it's red-to-red and black-to-black, and the green and white left unconnected. Or something like that...

It looks like there are some similar 'ibles in the related panel.

You should look at those, and see if perhaps the wires in those pictures look like the wires you are desiring to connect.

You need to tell us how much time is remaining on the bomb before we can tell you which wire to cut. If it's more than ten seconds it won't be dramatic and you're out of luck.

You're outa luck! Any answer without knowing what you're trying to connect and what was connected is just guesswork.

You might think the blk and red connect to the other blk and red but you  have at least 50% chance of being wrong.  And being wrong means you probably will ruin your phone and or charger.
