spray paint problem?

yesterday i spraypainted faux leather. it looks good and everything, but it wont dry. i spraypainted it yesterday morning and its still really sticky. what did i do wrong? what can i do to fix it?

It may be some of the solvents in the spray paint reacted with the plastics in the faux vinyl plastic leather. You now have a goopy mess that will probably not dry out or if it cures, you will have a disfigured hard blob on your hands. Don't know if the only way to fix it is to remove the material and apply a patch.

I had the same problem when I spraypainted some shoes a few years back. It never really dried even after it had picked up ever piece of dirt and hair in a hotel. Your going to have to strip that paint off if you can. Then try repainting the surface with an acrylic paint.
