The right one?

What's wrong with trying it for yourself, rather than expecting all the answers to be spoon-fed to you?

Oh, and if you've selected an answer as "best", you're supposed to actually hit the "best answer" button...

You select the top-comment that contains the "best".

I won't work. Duct tape is waterproof and the ink will not penetrate the surface of the tape. Even if you could get the ink to transfer, it will wipe right off.
You might have some success with a Sharpie or a ball point pen or some acrylic paints but a water transfer image is not likely to succeed.

Skin is lipophilic, I think tape is too. But temporary tattoos abrade-off fairly quickly.

I think it would -- water transfer tattoos don't transfer the ink, they glue a very thin film with the image stuck to a transparent layer of 'stuff'...I agree it should be a tiny bit porous to allow the water to get back out, but even vinyl decals are applied with water to nonporous surfaces.
