I'm also looking for a MPF102 substitute. MPF102 is a N-Channel depletion mode transistor - many of the transistors you've listed are NPN or PNP bipolar, and those won't work as replacements. The 2N5486 has similar specs and the same package and pin layout as the MPF102. Digikey has it list for a buck and change in low quantities, so I'm going to try it. Their part # is 2N5486CS-ND.
