what is the best tomatoe to use in a hanging planter?

well I tried Tumbling Tom for a couple of seasons and although they didnt do too badly I dont personally like the tatse that much. I tried ‘Burpees Delicious’ last year and they did quite well and I love their taste. So I guess it comes down to preference, but for a larger fruit you may wish to try ‘Burpees Delicious’ over Tumbling Tom.
you can us any kind of tomato! if your concern is the tomato dropping off from the vine before it's ripe, I wouldn't worry about it. from my experience, they fall off at about the same rate as the ones planted in the traditional manner. but if your really concerned, try growing cherry tomatoes. they are a lot smaller than the regular tomatoes, but you get a lot more.
