If you're in or near a big city then <a href="http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites">Craigslist</a> is the best bet. You can meet the buyer in person, get paid in cash, and don't have to mess with ebay fraud and there's a lot less competition. For example right now on ebay new ones <a href="http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?LH_Auction=1&_nkw=4th+gen+ipod+nano&_dmpt=Other_MP3_Players&_fx=1">are going for $50-$75</a>. On my local craigslist there are <a href="http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=4th+gen+ipod+nano&catAbbreviation=sss&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max">selling for $80-$120</a>.<br />
Are they _selling_ for that, or are people _asking_ that? I'd expect that difference to be negotiated down at least somewhat.

(The Nano never appealed to me personally -- I need at least 20GB of storage. But to each their own.)
same here
Good point, that's what people are asking for on CL.  And there is some haggling over price on craigslist, but if everyone is listing them at the same price, the item is selling at about that price, otherwise there would be a few (re)listings where people list them cheaper to get rid of them.

I've sold a ton of stuff on craigslist.  The prices are usually better than eBay, and dealing with buyers in person and in cash makes it a lot less of a hassle.

sell it on ebay and set it at maybe 60$ but people will fight for it and have a buy it now for about 70$-90$ at max
If you sell it on Craigslist, you'll get more money. If you list it on eBay, it'll be more likely to sell.

eBay would probably be the best place to sell it, but it would probably go for a bit less, as there is a large amount of competition. eBay is good because of the vast area it covers (pretty much the whole globe). There are also several services that will buy it from you, but they don't pay you for what it's worth. Otherwise, you can always try Craigslist.

You could try <a href="http://www.kijiji.ca">Kijiji.ca</a> or if you are in USA, <a href="http://www.kijiji.com">Kijiji.com</a> . I have sold numerous things on here and have had much success.<br /><br />Willard<br />
