what is the easiest way to make magnetic ink to print checks with?

checks require "micr" ink to be read by buisness check readers. there has to be a way to make it for almost nothing

If you buy a bunch of checks I'll bet you can dissolve the paper backing and collect the ink.
Ooh, wonderful idea, I should try that sometime!

. Get a MICR compliant laser toner cartridge (Google is your friend). Not a whole lot more than nothing.
You know, counterfeiting to fool a machine might just be a bit harder than fooling your average hooman bank teller.
