what is the price of a digital drawing board/tablet/pad...?

i'm planning to buy one, =) can someone suggest me a good one?

I bought a large Monoprice tablet: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10841&cs_id=1084102&p_id=6814&seq=1&format=1#largeimage

Pros:
Extremely affordable for all sizes ($20-45)
sensitive and accurate
good driver support (uses UC-Logic Drivers)(It works for me on Windows and Linux)
Works well for me with Gimp and MyPaint

Cons:
Pen uses a battery and may be bulky for some people
not sure about the support for Mac, I think some people have an easy solution for it to work
not wacom?

It has really good reviews and comes in a bunch of different sizes . I would recommend one of these as a first tablet because it is such a small investment. This is the only tablet I've used so I can't compare it to others.
I bought one and I don't regret it. I would definitely consider this tablet and look at all the reviews for it. I guess there are a lot of people who swear by the Monoprice brand for their quality and customer service.

Wacom's tablets have long had a good reputations among artists for being good quality for a reasonable price.
+1 I have an older 6x9 Intous that has served me well for nearly a decade.
