The paper seems focused more on usability and interface design than on the underlying technology. Presumably the University of Toronto will want to continue researching it for some time before licensing the idea to a company that will make a salable product. To quote from the paper, "... this research opens up many avenues for future work. We intend to undertake a formal study from a performance standpoint..." Still, why not tell the authors you are interested? They might just be willing to give you a free copy in exchange for your usage data.
