will this theory work for an assassins creed hidden blade?

i built this theory but i did not try will it work?
note : the circles are springs , strong ones
note : the back end's reach = the long of the blade gets out + the tall of half your arm

That's genius! Nice idea, I hope you implement it!

How is it supposed to work then?

when i throw my hand down fast it will go out
and when i push it goes up
i know that you'll tell me that it will go up if i try to "kill" somebody :)
but if you Bend your arm it wont go in

It's some kind of catch, but how your catch works isn't too clear.
Wouldn't the springy-bits drag on the blade too much, and would they lock?

top.boy (author)  lemonie4 years ago
they would lock if you made it like the drawing

Too much spring-force means too hard to eject the blade. But weak springs don't lock so well.
You'd be making this out of metal?

top.boy (author)  lemonie4 years ago
i don't know but i don't have metal and you can adjust the spring force to be good
maybe i will make it from wood

Wood is good to try it with, I just thought of this though, you'd spring the (black) catch differently but it should make sense:
