In the UK Just Cause 2 is rated 15 and it takes over 80 hours to complete100%
Also Lego Star Wars games are fun too
Call of Duty is great on Xbox live

Call of duty 4 and up are all rated M. Call of duty 3, COD2, and the original are all rated T for teen.

Furthering my objection to an AGE rating for maturity.

I know lots of people who can handle obvious gore/sexual references/physical dismemberment...and others who cannot - and it has nothing to do with their age how they will be affected by it.

10 years ago every shooter today would be Mature rated - adult only - but they realized they had to lower the rating if the medium was to sell any copies to their obvious younger target audience.

Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network games are mostly E or E10+
Need for Speed and other racing games are usually E+
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean came out recently and it looks great!
Portal 2 is an action-puzzle game that's rated E10+ so it fits perfectly in your budget
Viva Pinata was one of the highest rated games of 2010 and it's only E
Harry Potter games range from E10+ to teen depending on which film you choose and they're great (I own 3 of them)
Most sports games are E, I recommend FIFA 2011 if u like football (soccer if you're American)
Personally, the best games I have played has been Star Wars Battlefront 2 however it's rated teen for fantasy violence.
