AA to USB charger
Can someone provide me with a schematic for a AA-5v USB charger, either using 2xAA or 4xAA, using parts available on ebay UK (and no programmable chips), much like the mintyBoost, but the chip isn't available in the UK.

Yes, I relise this, but that's not what I asked. I want to know how I can make a cheap homemade AA powered USB charger using 2, 3, or 4 AAs (I would have though 4 would be easiest as it will give most current and you can just use a voltage regulator.
