ALL INSTRUCTABLES 404 for non-members/when not logged in

Pretty much what the title says- I was wondering why all the Instructables I tried to view were 404ing, until I logged in to post this thread and they started working. I tried in IE and Firefox and saw the same behaviour on both browsers.

If this is just my computer spazzing out then I'll ignore it, but if it's a real problem then presumably it is putting off a lot of non-members by presenting a fundamentally broken site.

The 404 message:
We're sorry, the URL http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY_Solar_Heater/ is either incorrect or no longer available.

If you followed this link from outside of one of our sites, we'd appreciate if you'd let the owner of the referring page know.

If you followed it from within our sites, or if you believe you received this message in error, please send e-mail to webmaster@instructables.com and let us know that you got error 404 looking for http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY_Solar_Heater/ which was linked to on page http://www.instructables.com/tag/type:id/?sort=RECENT''

Are you still having trouble viewing Instructables while not being logged in? I just logged out and was able to load up a bunch of Instructable project pages just fine.

No, the problem has disappeared. It took me by surprise because I don't log in automatically so browse a lot while not logged in, and restarting Firefox didn't fix the problem, so I figured it might be a site-side bug.

It's fixed for me as well.

I was showing a colleague the site approximately 4 hours before this post, and whilst the projects came up as 404, simply refreshing the page brought it back. (That was through IE, Windows XP, in the UK)

That happened to me last night. I didn't think it had anything to do with being logged out because once I closed out of IE (where I wasn't logged in) Firefox finally started working and then it worked just fine because I'm always logged in on Firefox. It works now though.

Yep, I get the same error. =[
