An Old Electrolyisis Presentation
This is an old Powerpoint presentation I made in fifth grade (and yes, I know, it has some incorrect info and several errors).

I can open the other one - thanks. Having seen some bloody-awful and not very good ppts in my time this is definitely one of the best uses of the software I've seen (considering it's a 5th grade presentation). Do you know how industrial hydrogen is produced (w/ref this cheap source of green fuel people talk about)? (I can tell if you're interested) L
I can't open it, but having said that it has some incorrect info and several errors - why have you posted it? L
Mostly so some friends of mine could see it. It was faster to put on Ibles than to FTP it to a server. Also there isn't that much incorrect information, just a few things on oxygen/hydrogen interactions. It does contain a very efficient way to set up an electrolysis experiment, however.
If you just want to share the file with a few friends, you can upload the file to your library (as you already have), then share the url of the file itself with your friends via email or scraps of paper. They will then be able to see the file in your library without the need for posting a topic.
Ah, that's interesting I'd not thought much about using the site as storage. Try again to view it... "The selected file does not appear to be a valid Microsoft PowerPoint file. It might be another kind of Microsoft Office file or a file created by using a different product." It downloads as a .tmp but changing to .ppt gives me that. L
Oh, .pptx for Powerpoint 2007. If you want a .ppt for Powerpoint 2003, I can upload that as well.
Well 2003 says it was created by a newer version, do I want to download a... The older version won't open it either. Don't upload for my benefit, but having tried, I'm somewhat interested. L
. I was able to open it with OpenOffice 3 - but I'm guessing you don't want to download/install OO, either. :) . According the the OO menu, I can export it as a PDF or save as a PP 97/2000/XP file, but I haven't tried either one, so I'm not sure how it will turn out. If you want a converted file, let me know.
If you think it would be worth converting (for both of us) I'd like to see it, I think the office 2003 is a trial anyway. L

Yeah, they do actually, the aluminum foil just provides more area
If there weren't already several electrolysis Instructables, I'd probably expand it into one.
. BTW, if you will grab the PDF and add it here, I can remove if from my site. I'll start getting hits from all over the 'Net in a few days when this page hits the search engines.
True. Oh well. Then I'll use time shortages as my excuse.
