my main (and only problem) with Answers is the reply counter. why does it count your own reply. when I ask something and look at the replies. I keep thinking that there is a new answer.

As Lemonie said, it takes a while to update on the summary page.  My observation has been roughly 45-60 minutes of lag time, occasionally longer.  Every once in a while  I'll see the counter click up within a few minutes, but that is quite rare.
