Are YOU affected by Pokemon seizures? ( Watch at your own risk! )

So, as many of you have known, the animated TV show Pokemon is famous for causing over 700 Japanese kids seizures via continuously flashing red and blue lights. Now, I am proposing you a challenge, can YOU endure the infamous red and blue lights? I can.

I only feel a bit dizzy, but nothing close to seizures. No YouTube viewers are affected by it ( although few felt dizzy ).

So, are YOU affected by Pokemon seizures? Or are Japanese kids wussies? Find out by watching the video!

Apparently, the U.S. Army is trying to develop a 'crowd control' device that mimics this, only worse. Yay for AmeriKa, land of the sheep, home of the lame.

First of all, the video is down. Second Westfw is right in saying most only endured "symptoms" of seizures, and third, Pokemon is for people to appreciate, not for some stupid "I can endure some blinky lights herp derp." Also I bet you don't even know anything about this episode other than it has some blinking lights.

BTW, the "causing 700 kids to have seizures" statement is pretty misleading. The actual statistic is that approximately 700 kids were taken to hospitals with SOME symptoms; according to Snopes only a small fraction were determined to have actually experienced seizures. (Hmm. Not one of Snopes more convincing articles, though...)
You'd think there would be more concrete statistics online for something like this, but if there are they're all buried under that mass of "watch the episode" "content." Sigh. It's sorta nice that not only USians are subject to press-induced hysteria - apparently a good fraction of those 700 didn't show up till the next day..

See also Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson and "Press Enter" by John Varley. The former proposes that you can essentially "crash" the human brain via visual display, and the latter supposes that you can be hypnotized into particularly grizzly suicide (using a 1984-era DOS display!) "Press Enter" was particularly chilling, IIRC (Not a story I'm disposed to re-read!)

Its not like I hate the grammar police, I'm just telling you that I wrote it at 3 in the morning :-P
I know, and I shouldn't be too picky; as I never know whom may have English as a second language or whatever...I was just teasing though ;-)

LOL.....English is my fourth language BTW..... The languages I speak are: Indonesian (fluent), Mandarin (crap-in-a-bucket crappy), Japanese (not that good, but better than crappy), and English (pretty dang fluent for a middle school student, or for a foreigner as a whole IMO)
