Are there any community shops in the Vancouver bc area?

Hi. I am wondering if there any community shops in the Vancouver bc area? I have a couple projects that require large and expensive tools / machines that I cannot buy and store myself. I think that finding a community shop would be the best option. 

Any help would be appreciated

The Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre offers drop in times; however you MUST be over 19 years of age and complete an Assessment test and a Safety Orientation.

For more information, visit their website. Select "Adult Programs" from the "Classes & Workshops" menu choice to get Spring/Summer schedule (downloaded in a pdf). You'll find the info you want on page 3.

Aside from Vancouver Hack Space there's also Vancouver Community Lab.

I am also looking for a woodwork shop (on a drop in basis would be best).
