Well, my brother has a terrerium, and he said that he keeps it humidified by keeping all the evaporated water from his plants inside of his terrerium.
So just like the first reply...WHAT ARE YOU HUMIDIFYING?????

With water shortages happening in many places, I want to collect water from the air.

just buy water bottles

I open them up and they fill up with water? I have a well, I have a hand pump,
I have a river and I have a creek. But the idea of leaving those alone and using something else was intriguing.

I collect ideas/plans in case of need, and I love problem solving and innovation.

In that case, you want a dehumidifier. However, the energy you put into the device will not be worth the water you collect.

A relevant question: where are you?

I am in Florida. And I know that they have commercial units that can be run on solar systems.

Hmm, fairly humid mornings - have you looked into dew collectors or fog harvesters?

We have loads of dew, not so many foggy mornings. You walk out of a morning and your shoes get very wet.

I know the methods. But never have built one.

You then want some sort of rain collector or water condensing device, not a humidifier which puts moisture back into the air. There might be some ilbles if you search but for dry areas like deserts you may have to expend more energy and work to collect a useable amount of water than trying to ship it in. Desalinization plants for seawater may also have the same problems.

I live in Florida where we have a lot of humidity.

What are you trying to humidify, greenhouse, outdoor patio, living room, bedroom, planet?

Well for starters I want to make water out of air for personal use. But the idea of it for my greenhouses is very appealing. Thanks
