BBQ PDQ Contest Winners
Instructables is happy to announce the winners of the BBQ PDQ Contest. Since this was a speed contest, all of the winners were determined by user votes.
One of the winners, rsub8, had two winning entries and so the entry with the higher votes was recognized. Also, linuxmom was the winner of the linux family, but LinuxH4x0r and Tuxgirl were very close in winning shirts of their own.
As always, there are many more awesome Instructables than there are winners. I will be attempting to make my own horseradish in the future and enjoyed the BBQ Hero tips as well as the Tuna Steak Sandwich.
A big "thank you" to all who entered and if you didn't win we will be having more contests in the future.

i have a request. can you invent a process of cooking ribs using a flamethrower? if you could it would be appreciated.
a torch maybe, but not a "true" flame thrower, which throws a viscous flammable liquid out of the nozzle....that would ruin the ribs LOL
I personally find the smell of gasoline to be absolutely mouth watering. That and rust. Rust smells so tasty...I only wish I could eat it.

I was teasing and it was not nice.....I am sorry ( growing up, a lot of the "Swiss made clocks" my relatives owned were coo-coo clocks....I really was only teasing though, but that was probably too far, and I am sorry)

Something tells me it won't taste as good as it smells.
Do they add that smell? I know they add the smell for natural gasses.

Well they do i with the other gas so you can tell if there's a leak.

Probably nothing cheap and easy. Most gas is invisible.

...why would you randomly think it might be leaking? It's better to have something to alert you.

That's what the smell is for...you'll know it's leaking by the distinct smell.

The gas tank, but the smell wasnt too strong, so we weren't sure of it was gas leaking or some other smell....
if it were visible and leaked long enough, you wouldn't be able to see to get out of the house

Congrats, everyone. I think that the no employee wins rule should have been had an exception made for it. Tetranitraite's instructable was the best.

Thanks for suggesting this contest... In addition to seeing and making (or planning to make) many of the delicious food recipes here (please check them out) - this contest (cooking is a long-time passion of mine) prompted and encouraged me to submit my first instructable(s). Congratulations to all! I'll just say - MMMMM! Happy cooking - and eating! Enjoy the summer! (I know it's winter "down under" there in Oz, but I do know that it's not too cold to grill or BBQ, even in Vic. or Tazzy)!
