You remember me telling that I had to take down Dystopia back here?
I just say two words: APRIL FOOLS! :D
I hope I managed to fool many of you guys.
But I also got something for you: I made the pics of a vid I made while constructing the parallel arm lift, and I made the vid public for you guys!

happy motors do not groan... I really suggest making a larger counter weight. You have to pieces...

Or you could not be lazy, take some of that out and add a tiny bit of weight to it for better performance... It's called constructive criticism.

Not to me, but it has happened to other people before. If the motor doesn't break, the rods with the gears will be twisted at least.

Do NEVER EVER take down a ball machine before it's finished. I bought like 5-10k for catastropha to manage to finish it.

it was too big; i did want to make one around my room, but it wasn't worth finishing it: there wasn't enough space for exiting new lifts and elements.
fortunately, i started a new one, with a new lift system. i'll call it ''double claw lift.''
so i took it down only for new lifts and probably elements.
there will be a video from the unfinished one.

you're right, but wouldn't it be confusing to have two lifts with the same name?
also, i do have an instructable about the parallel arm lift, i got confused with the returning arm lift. :)
